Configuration Management: - Developed and implemented identification and labelling of all component types for a variety of Real Time and Client Server systems – often working with 3rd Parties and product development as well as in-house development teams. Provided Configuration Management plans for contracts defining control processes, baselines, audits and version management in multiple parallel development projects. Used a range of manual processes and CM tools to manage configurations. Carrying out internal and 3rd Party process audits. Release Management: - worked with multiple development, test and live environments monitoring and auditing the configuration to ensure compatibility and alignment. Worked with Test and Defect management Teams to define defective released components and identify with internal and external suppliers planned resolution releases. Developed, agreed and implemented quality gates in the release cycle from development through to production and using risk criteria to establish impact of deficiencies found at each gate. Organised and chaired release planning meetings involving all stakeholders. Change Management: - Developed Change Management processes for a variety of projects taking into account outsourced development and infrastructure support, business users as well development, test and delivery teams. Reviewed Forward Schedule of Change with stakeholders and Change Project Managers. Developed reports for tools such as Remedy and Dimensions. Build Management: - Reviewed and improved System Build processes, reducing build times by 60% and increased build reliability. Integrated Dimensions with Hudson Continuous Build tool. Tested 3rd Party Build processes using Maven scripts. Has worked closely with Systems and Database administrators developing SQL and some scripting capability. Service Management: - Has experience in Software AR&M and in Capacity planning for System Integration & Test Environments as well as Transition Management. |
